RESIDENCE IN A HISTORICAL BUILDING

In the historic center of the small town of Quadrelli, formerly Castello di Quadrelli, in the municipality of Montecastrilli in the province of Terni, set in a medieval village of enchanting charm, we offer the sale of a period residence completely renovated and arranged over three levels -land) for a total of 190 square meters plus an external garden (inside the castle walls of the town) of about 200 square meters. with wooden gazebo, furnishings and equipped kitchen including barbecue and wood-burning oven. On the ground floor, to the left of the entrance, there is the technical room and the laundry room which can be transformed into a small tavern having also a kitchen; on the right the cellar and the garage. A flight of stairs in "Tuscan" red earth bricks leads to the "day" floor with a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and French door for access to the garden. All the renovation works - completed in 2010 - took into account the original construction and the house largely respects the period residence originally built (late Middle Ages) also as regards the materials (stones, stones, beams, bricks and handmade tiles of rare beauty). The renovation of the two bathrooms and the kitchen was carried out with material from 'I Sassi di Assisi'; the terracotta of the kitchen floor "handmade" by a craftsman from the Marche region (certified). All the windows are in oak-wood, double-glazed argon and iron core, the entrance door and the external doors are in oak-wood, as is the floor, while the ceilings are in chestnut (mainly) and fir. The internal doors in chestnut wood were built entirely by hand by the late Corrado Fagiani, a well-known wood craftsman from Scheggino (Cod. 11618).
